"Two interactions"

About: Basildon University Hospital

First was a visit to A&E needed a cannula after IV drugs nurse came to remove it removed the cannula and dropped the gauze on the floor and went to pick it up and use it!

Not a wise move at all, not least to someone jo started his nursing in 1976 and did 23 years as a Matron!

Went to X Ray on 14.01.16 for a ct as I have had loss of appetite and significant weight loss clearly potentially a precursor to cancer. Ten days later still no answer made pals aware of my concerns sec to surgeon who ordered it said they would follow it up urgently

A week later still no result told PALS again said they would refer it to governance team, since then silence!

Unacceptable!
