Tried to telephone the Switchboard for the operator to make enquiries about a relative and it is impossible to get through.
Upon ringing you hear an automated service that asked you to hold and after about 6 minutes your call gets cut off. I tried it 3 times and the same thing happens every time. Are the Senior Managers of this NHS Hospital Trust who are paid 6 figure sums aware that something as basic as their switchboard do not work? Have they ever tried ringing themselves to test their own system or are they perpetually in meetings and have no idea what is going on!
"Telephone system do not work..you just get cut..."
