I was referred by my Dentist due to being too nervous. My dentist said he would send a file along with treatment required plan. I assumed therefore that my appointment would be for treatment. However first appointment was jsut an assessment. " months later asked to return. Same again no treatment just x rays and treatment discussion however they did give me a filling for a crumbling front tooth. Dentist used a lot of jargon and tried to involve me in diascussion and decisions but I just really didnt understand what was being said and was so agitated I found it hard to concentrate.
I am due to return Feb 16th but a couple of weeks after filling I started getting pain below the filling. I thought I could wait for next appointment but now pain is spreading all along my jaw up and around my ear and over my skull. It is taking 5 pain killers just to allow me to focus and I have not slept well for days. I called my local Dentist but they asked me to ring hospital and try to go there. I have spent hours and hours ringing number on this website but every time after 15 minutes it says they are unable to take call and terminates the call.
I am having to take about 25 pain killers a day which is making me feel sick and i'm not getting anywhere with sorting the problem out.
"Feels like i have run out of options"
