"Needs to be much better organised"

I was referred to this service for CBT 3 years ago and I've just about given up. Every time I have called them the people in the office are very nice and I suspect over worked, but I keep being told Im on the waiting list and nothing ever comes of it.

I had an initial phone appointment with a very nice person who said I could attend a 6 week anxiety group as there was a long wait for individual CBT but it would keep me going until I could be seen. However I was suffering post traumatic stress and everyone else in the group was there with social anxiety so I felt like I didnt have anything in common with the other attendees and didnt share their issues, in fact some of the advice that was given was contrary to how Id been previously told to deal with my symptoms (I dont blame the people running the course, they were nice and doing their best, it just wasnt helpful for me).

I've since called to chase my CBT a number of times but either been told that there is a long wait, that Im not on the waiting list, or that since I attended the group sessions Im no longer eligible. But every time I called I was told they would put me on the waiting list and Ive still not heard anything.

Thanks for posting but this should not happen; we don’t have anyone on a waiting list for that length of time, so clearly something has gone wrong here; can you please me a call on 07584428541 so I can sort it out for you?

Jon Olsen,
