I have asthma, had a bad attack late last year and needed another inhaler. Couldn’t get in to get one at the doctors and I was getting worse. Walked up to A & E but they told me I could be all day so they told me to go to the Primary Care Centre. I waited 45 minutes to see someone, but because I didn’t have a repeat prescription with me they wouldn’t do anything. I then had to go back to my GP surgery at Crickets Lane (Ashton-under-Lyne) and just wait.
All in all I waited from 8. 30 until 2. 30 for an inhaler and was in a bit of a state and very worried.
