About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham

Me Bali and my mom Jit were admitted to the Queen Elizabeth hospital on 15 September 2014, mom had kidney failure and I was the donor. We were part of the consultant's excellent team, the care, compassion, communication, respect for individual needs was excellent. We were kept informed at every stage of our admittance from start to finish. Mom was on ward 303 after surgery and I was on ward 305 of which mom joined me after three days. The staff on both wards nurses, cleaners and porters were absolutely amazing. The staff on days, nights doctors and all we came into contact with deserve the highest praise for the care we received. Not enough praise is given to our nhs staff, we are both humbled by the respect, sense of humour of the staff, nothing was ever to much whatever we needed or anything we were unsure of we were reassured. It is an absolute credit to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital that you have staff who are committed to the highest quality of care, it was a pleasure to meet so many wonderful and genuine people who truly are an inspiration to their profession. Thank you. Bali and Jit
