I was at the Edgware Walk in Centre with my son who had a big cut above the eye. I registered him in and eas told to wait for an hour for my son to be seen. I told the receptionist that he had a big cut above his eye and he is only a child, and why he can't be seen in an emergency. She said it's not about the age. What kind of answer was that!? Don't know they think a big cut above the eye us serious? A child is a child. I should people working in this medical field must know that an emergency treating must be given priority to the vulnerable people like children and the old people. They are so laid back and relax with the way they deal with situation. It is no wonder that medical services in the UK is the worst. In my country, children and old people are treated immediately in any case of emergency! Plus, receptionists are rude! They expect patients to treat them with respect but they give no respect to patients and they are rude!!
