I was taken by paramedics to Derriford Hospital due to possible pneumonia. As I am allergic to nearly all antibiotics my GP thought it was safer. In A & E they did an X-Ray and then after a wait of approximately 6 hours I was transferred to Tavy Ward (multiple assessment). Spent the night there - unable to sleep because of noise, lights left on all night and extremely excessive central heating. The following morning they did a further X-Ray - took blood samples 4 times - promptly losing them as the Data Base crashed and I was then told I should take antibiotics but that I could return home. Temperature was 38 however that was obviously high due also to the central heating. I was given an approximative dianosis - 4 different diseases. I returned home on the Saturday morning (2 days) with no antiobiotics.
