"Post-Delivery Care was Very Poor"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital (London)

Had a baby earlier this year and while the midwives were lovely, the aftercare was fairly terrible. Felt left alone, didn't get any clean sheets, had to try and organize my own food and water despite being hooked up to a catheter and in pain. Facilities had to be shared with several women, couldn't get any sleep and staff was usually too busy to help much with my new baby. There wasn't even a proper changing facility in the room. All in all, a pretty traumatizing experience. Was glad to leave as soon as I could to have a proper shower at home and recover.
