"Brilliant Care in Children's Ward"

Just wanted to thank all the staff at A&E, Resus and the Childrens Ward for the brilliant care of my 3 year old daughter during her stay in 2013. She was admitted with a temp of 41. 2c and a non blanching rash. She was seen to promptly and given a very good standard of care. The doctors looked into everything, she was given prompt treatment, and although she didn't make things easy for them (refusing oral medicine), they were always very professional towards both of us. She was eventually diagnosed with Septicaemia, and after a few doses of strong antibiotics was soon back to normal thanks to the prompt care she received. Only minor thing was that the on demand TV didn't work, my little one kept wanting Peppa Pig on once she was getting better. But given they got her well again, this is nothing and I cannot thank the doctors and nurses enough! During her stay they also spotted a Heart Murmur which they also looked into via an ECG and this was diagnosed as an Innocent Murmur. So we went home fit and healthy.
