I had an appointment for a scan on my kidneys and ovaries. The scan revealed an enlarged (swollen) kidney. The staff I saw were all very kind and worked quickly and promptly. I felt slightly uncomfortable that I had to have a male doctor perform the scan as it was internal, but there was a female nurse present. All in all my experience was a good one.
