I would like to say that I think this hospital gets a very tough press. Obviously I can only comment on the ward I was on (Dedham) but they could not do enough to make us feel well looked after. I was in over Christmas and it certainly was not the worst experience of my life - the nurses left us little presents on our beds and we had a nice Christmas dinner. Visitors were also allowed any time.
The ward was clean, food was very nice and the staff excellent. A great experience at a tough time.
