This review is just for January 2016, although there have been previous causes of concern.
We have been with this doctors practice for 28 years. For most of those years we have been content with their service, but over the last couple of years, we feel that Murdishaw Health Centre has slowly gone down hill! These are just a couple of reasons why.
January... Waited one & a half hours in the reception area, from 5 - 6.30, for an emergancey prescription that was put in 3 days earlier. That was after calling back 3 times & phoning twice!
Put another prescription in on 11th January, after trying to pick it up 4 times it was finally ready yesterday 29th January. These are medications such as beta blockers, anticoagulants, & other heart related drugs...
They tell you to ring am for a same day appointment, but when you eventually get through, they're all gone...rang 31 times (I have proof)
The earliest routine appointment available is 18th February! 19 days away.
We don't question the duty of care once you get to see the Doctors, however the whole structure of this establishment seriously needs addressing.
