What I liked

The staff are amazing. Nothing is too much and they will sit down and explain my sons heart condition to me as many times as I need (it's v complex). The facilities are second to none and are all exceptionally clean. We will be coming to this hospital for many years to come and I'm so glad that we have this facility near us. Our surgical centre is in Birmingham and compared to there this hospital is paradise!

What could be improved

The wards were freezing especially at night. Bearing in mind our last stay was in the middle of winter. In summer it's probably boiling as the AC is dire.

The restaurant is v expensive and long term patients and their families should receive a discount.

Anything else?

I love the place, it's well appointed and the staff are second to none!
