"Eternally grateful"

About: Birmingham Hospice – Erdington

(as a staff member posting for a carer/relative),

There are not enough words to express our thanks to the staff at John Taylor Hospice for the care and love that they all showed to our mum during the final weeks of her life.

There is no doubt that this special care contributed to her accepting what was happening to her and eventually preparing to be reunited with her beloved husband.

This kind of care does not happen by accident and it takes a team of highly professional, dedicated and caring individuals to make each and every patient feel safe, comfortable and loved.

Mum’s passing left a huge void in all of our lives but as a family we are hugely consoled by the fact that Mum’s final weeks were peaceful, virtually pain free and surrounded by people who loved her.

The staff at John Taylor Hospice touched all of our lives and we will be eternally grateful.
