Consultant was friendly

What could be improved

Ward was unclean, allocation of staff (I was in huge amounts of pain and unable to move for most of the time so needed help with getting to the toilet, but the nurse put on overnight shift was couldn't help me get up, and there was apparently no one else to help), response to emergency button (regularly took more that 10 minutes), communication (treatments were not explained well, nurses were rude), overall attitude from staff was poor, was made to feel like I was a nuisence rather than a patient
