I have been under LGH for over 10 years, with regular nerve block surgery every 6 months, this has been working great for my chronic pancreatitis, allowing me to carry on living an everyday life. But since my consultant retired, I feel let down. The few treatments I have received have worked well, but they are now never on time.4-5 months late, which is causing me great pain, stress and unable to carry on with my life. Every time I phone up, all I get is your on the list, but unable to say even what month. My last treatment was due in September 2015. I called in November, they said I was on the list for December, I once again called in December, and was told I was on the list, but could be at earliest March. I am in severe pain and live on very strong doses of morphine. I feel I have been let down and forgotten about.
This hospital I used to feel was the best, with strong, polite and so friendly staff.
I do not blame any staff for this review, as I still think them the best. It's just the way I am being knowingly left in severe chronic pain. Something you wouldn't even put your dog through.
