"No Medical Care Given"

We presented ourselves to A&E on advice from NHS 111 after seeing a Dr earlier in the evening, that stated if my very young daughters condition didnt improve to contact 111.

We waited 4.5 hours to see a doctor, I decided to take my daughter to our local GP as we had waited through the night and couldn't get a timeframe from A&E Staff. Reception told me when I stated my thoughts politiely and plainly "yeah tell a nurse your leaving."

The pre antibiotic urine sample which we now need the results for never made it to the combined lab from A&E.

Very poor and stressful experience, with no actual medical care given to a child.
