Rang main line and asked for Opthalmology Dept - phone rang, and rang and eventually disconnected.

After so many rings surely it should go back to central switchboard.

Thank you for letting us know about your experience trying to contact the Ophthalmology department at the RLI. Sometimes, during busy periods, staff are unable to answer the phone as they are caring for patients, although we appreciate that it can be frustrating not being able to get through.
