I had been advised I needed a difibulator to be implanted .i had pre op check then got a bed as we were travelling from Preston I rang on the day as stated in the letter I was told to come in the afternoon .i got a call to say no beds available since then I have had two pre op checks and still waiting for that bed it will be 2 years in May . I have been informed I needed two consultants to attend I was called in earlier this year told to be there for 9am we sat in the waiting room till 4pm. I went in to theatre thinking at last but woke to find out they only did investigation and had run out of time to fit difibulator it is now Feb 2016 my heart has gone in to atrial fibulation again I am short of breath and so very tired . I have been put on blood thinning meds and now awaiting a cardioverstion .
