Response from South Tyneside District Hospital

Thank you for taking the time to post on NHS Choices your experience of our services.

I am disappointed to read your account of your stay in our A&E Department as the level and type of communication is not that which we expect of our staff.

I will copy your comments to the respective managers in order that they can share them with the staff and reflect on your experience.

In the interim period, I sincerely hope the remainder of your pregnancy goes well and you deliver a fit and healthy baby when the time comes.

Kind regards

Steve Williamson

Chief Executive
