"Elderly discharge"

I was discharged from Acute Medical Unit on December 16th and though I was delighted to get out, my family weren't very happy that no arrangements were made for me to have follow ups re my high BP. They rang our GP next day and they did it for two weeks, but it has now tailed off!

The two who were present at the hospital said the doctor who let me go didn't really tell them anything or give me any instructions. By then I was too tired to take anything in, but I have since been to see the neurologist and the endocrinologist( both arranged before the stroke) and am awaiting results of scans, biopsies, you name it. I reckon we have put enough money in CUH's car park to keep a family for a year!

I wish I could tell them, the bosses, face to face, but all you ever get is a sincere(? ) letter of apology, which means zilch.
