"Treated so well"

Here for the weekend, tripped up the front steps to our hotel and a fractured thumb was the result. We visited the Walk-In station centre and treated very quickly. I was told to go to A&E but as I'm hospital volunteer I knew only too well how busy they'd be on a Saturday evening, with cases far more deserving than me. So after breakfast the following evening we went to A&E where I was seem very quickly, very efficiently and kindly. God Bless our NHS and all the staff.
