"TIA Clinic, Stroke Unit."

About: George Eliot Hospital - Acute Services

With a referral from my GP I chose to attend GEH TIA Clinic rather than go to my local Leicester Royal Infirmary and I am so glad that I did.

The clinic specialist nurse explained everything clearly and in detail. The Consultant was brilliant and again explained and answered my questions. I was pleasantly surprised to be referred and be subject to blood tests, scan and ECG in the same visit and no one hung about.

I wish all NHS services and appointments were like this one, this should be the standard.

Thank you GEH, I doubt that I would have received better if I had paid for private healthcare.
