I was transferred to a person on the phone, the person was then rude and aggressive, The next day I received a letter from the hospital containing Private and confidential details including my password, the envelope had not been not sealed, basic common sense and breach of privacy and confidentiality is not acceptable, I see I am not alone at experiencing nasty staff. stop employing rude patronising and grossly negligent staff. I haven't yet had my operation,I dread it because of the way I have already been treated, I had also been referred to the wrong consultant.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Although we are disappointed to read your post, we want to take this as an opportunity to make some improvements.

Unfortunately it is our General Practitioner colleagues who request for a patient to be seen by a specific consultant; if this was incorrect our Referral Management Centre would have been able to make any necessary amendments; as your posting is anonymous we are unable to confirm if this occurred.

Please be assured that or Referral Management Centre record all calls for the benefit of both patients and employees; this facility allows the team to identify any individuals being rude or aggressive.
