"Visit to Diabetic eye screening"

About: North Middlesex Hospital

Attended clinic was seen promptly in and out in under an hour. To have made it perffect it would have been nice if the person carrying out the screening had introduced himself. And the provision of a bin may have prevented soiled tissue being left in the seating area.

Thank you for your feedback it's very important to us and much appreciated. We do have over 13 clinic sites and it was not clear which clinic you were referring to. However, you are correct. there should have been a bin in the screening area and also as part of our routine staff should introduce themselves. We will now double check all of our clinic sites to make sure all do have a bin. I will also be sharing your comments with the team for their information. I again thank you for your comments. Please email me if you have anything else to add ali.askari@nhs.net, diabetic eye screening programme manager.
