"Uncaring unprofesional attitude of staff &..."

(Dermatology) After taking my child for an appointment we were left in a hot waiting room for an hour, other people came for their appointments saw the consultants and left and it wasnt until i raised my concerns that they admitted they had forgot about my child.

(Pathology) After being told by consultant (Doctor) to take my child for blood tests we were then refused by pathology because an appointment wasnt made, after explaining twice in the last 2 previous years my child has never been given an appointment but was treated. the pathology site manager stated their policy had been in place since 2009 but couldnt explain why this policy was not adhered to on 2 previous occasions. They were unsympathetic with an uncaring attitude virtually calling me a liar, in the background a nurse/staff member was chuntering towards me. I asked for their names but they refused. This was very upsetting for my child but they didnt seem to give a damn, Please note : At no point did any doctor consultant or nurse say an appointment was needed. I understand the NHS is under strain but after the way my child was treated at scunthorpe i have no sympathy for these completely unprofessional people and further more i wouldnt trust them with my garbage never mind a human being.
