"SKYLARK TEAM 1st Class Service couldn't ask for..."

About: Kettering General Hospital

I would like to take this opportunity to express our utmost and sincere gratitude for the help support and care provided by the Skylark team at Kettering General Hospital.

My son has a lifelong medical condition which means he is a regular at Skylark ward. However each time we visit the receiption is amazing and the team will do all the can to ensure he is comfortable and well asap.

Special appreciation to his consultant who has been his guardian Angel who has done everything in their power to put together a special team ensuring that my son has a bespoke care plan which has made immense improvement to his recovery time this has made our lives so much easier. You have made my son's life so much better and his condition so much easier to live with. God richly bless you.

Special appreciation to the play team who have an Angel sent from heaven - God richly bless you. You have made my son believe in miracles by doing everything in your power to ensure that his wish of a life time gets granted. Thank you for touching my son's life in such a special way.

Once again this wouldn't have been possible without his Consultant so thank you for nominating him to the wish team in the first place.

The play team is always around to ensure that his journey is made as easy as possible. You are always there with us through the painfull blood tests, the blocked drips and especially the birthdays spent in hospital. You provide playstation, ipads and educational games for distraction which makes our stay less painful.

Thank you Skylark and keep up the good work, keep touching children's lives and making their stay in your care as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible.

Thank you for your amazing comments regarding your repeated stays on Skylark Ward.

We know that any hospital stay can be stressful but to have to be here repeatedly can be very distressing.

It is because of this that the whole team works tirelessly to ensure that everyone’s time here goes as smoothly as possible.

The Play Team work closely with various charities to enable children like your son to have their wishes granted. We are hoping that very soon his wishes will come true.

All the equipment that the Play Team uses is provided by charitable donations so support from our local community is vital to us.

It is important to us that all the children we care for are treated well and as individuals. To have that confirmed by you is such a great way for us to realise that we are achieving what we set out to.

Thank you again for your wonderful comments and although we know that your son will be back staying with us at some point, we hope he stays as well as possible in the meantime!
