"Lack of coordination in the after care"

I have had several visits to hospital. Some waits not too long but other times I found it awful and depressing as I had waits of hour and a half. I found the waiting area/corridor had tired décor and in my opinion was not hygienic. I was left in this uninspiring place with an open surgical cut after removal of plaster. The dressing was half removed to look at the wound by the specialist. Then I waited for new plaster for ages and felt I had nowhere clean to put my foot. A few weeks later I had a check up and the wound was infected. I think I picked up germs in this waiting room. I was not impressed by the logistics and lack of coordination in the after care treatments. They did not supply the dressings and I had to make another appointment for this at the doctors surgery 2 days later. The driver who took me couldn't wait, the dispensary had to order the dressing and consequently I could never get in to collect it. I think it all seems disjointed.
