In November I went to Addenbrooke's hospital for the removal of a plate from my clavicle which was inserted following an accident 14 months previously.
I had excellent care. I was dealt with on time at 7 in the morning on arrival. I was visited by the relevant staff soon after. They had the necessary information on me and dealt with me in a professional and personable manner. The pre-operative procedures were dealt with in a clear and concise manner. (I don't remember the operation!) The after care was attentive and informed and I was given good line of sight on what would happen and when. I was seen by surgical, anaesthetic, physiotherapy and nursing staff in quite a swift time frame. I was discharged feeling comfortable and well looked after.
The care was all first rate. The operation was carried out to a high standard such that I have very little to show for it, which is ideal.
I would like to compliment the staff on the quality of the care that I received in all respects.
