"Great service, poor reception management"

I can't fault the attention, professionalism and service provided by the nurses and technicians.

However, when you need to speak to soneone over the phone to book an appointment, change an appointment, etc, it is nigh on impossible to get through to anyone. Already has an engaged tone and no messaging facility. Not good service on that front.

More reception staff are needed. I do fully understand that this is down to NHS restaints but under resourcing a team is a sure fire way to give a poor first impression of a department. Sort it out Colchester University Hospitals!
