About: University Hospital Of North Durham

I give birth on the 16th of november, my midwife who was with me all day on the 15th was lovely! They made it such a better experience and was very friendly and we were able to have a laugh! I ended up going to theatre and had great support. I spent the next 4 days in hospital and all the staff i encounted were lovely!

The only downside is after i had my baby.. In the early hours.. My partner had to leave which i felt was sad as he wanted to bond with baby for longer.

Once he left i was took to a dark ward and kind of just left and couldnt get sorted as had had a spinal! But once i buzzed someone did come and help. Overall a happy experience!

I am very pleased to hear that you had a positive experience and that overall you are happy with the care you received.

I am sorry though that you had a slightly poor experience when your partner had to leave.
