"Automated telephone response"

About: Buckland Hospital

I called 9.45am.

The response was automated and so I named the department and was advised that the department was not available at the moment and that I would be transferred to the emergency number which also was not available.

I called once more and the same thing occurred again.

I just needed to speak with someone about whether it is possible to have an x-ray at the hospital as it is closer for me than travelling to Margate.

Is there a receptionist at the hospital or just an automated service?

Very frustrating.

Please would you telephone PALS (Patient Advice and Liaison Service) on either 01227 783145 or 01227 864314 and they would be very happy to help you.

They may need a little more information from you to determine whether you will be able to have your x-ray at Buckland.
