I had cause to attend the Minor Injuries Unit on Sunday 17th January with a suspected fractured right wrist following a fall on the ice the previous day.
The service and care were first class and a tribute to the NHS at its best.
Quick, professional, and courteous attention from knowledgeable, helpful and friendly staff.
All the staff deserve recognition - reception, medical, radiography and nursing, but I must single out the nursing care in particular as being exceptional.
A really good example of how the NHS is most of the time.
Sadly, the media and many politicians only focus on the 5% of cases where there is a problem, not the 95% that go according to plan.
Well done - and 'thank you'.
"NHS at its best"
