About: North Tyneside General Hospital

My husband had a total knee replacement 6 months ago and we have to compliment the care before during and after his surgery as it was excellent.

Staff on the ward physiotherapists, Consultant and Nursing Staff were attentive caring and friendly and carried out his care with the utmost professionalism.

His pre-op assessment was practical in as much as equipment was put into place to facilitate his discharge after his surgery so everything was arranged in a timely manner to help him on his return home.

His aftercare was wonderful from Physiotherapy resulting in a speedy recovery which enabled him to return to work within 3 months of his surgery.

Thank you to to the consultant and their staff for everything you did.
