"Midwife care"

About: Whipps Cross University Hospital

Very unhappy with the care my wife received when she was due to give birth ,very rude midwifes and also after the birth ,she couldn't move from the operation ,she told me that nurses made her to get up and look after her babies-twins ,even though she had to stay for more than a week she was made to get up and look after the babies,,even though she barely could move.I spent most of the time in the hospital looking after her .Very inconsiderate nurses,no compassion, only when I threatened to complain on the last days of stay it improved a bit.Overall third world care ,if not worse. They don't deserve even 1star

We are very sorry to read that you were unhappy with the care your wife received during and after birth. We really value your feedback and take into account the concerns you have raised here, including the rudeness of the midwives. We have passed your comments onto the maternity team so that they are able to see them and so that they can make improvements to the service where possible.

Should you wish to discuss your concerns further, please contact our PALS Team on 020 3594 2040 or by email: pals@bartshealth.nhs.uk

Kind regards
