Abt 10.00am. Recognised symptoms of A heart attack. Called 999. Ambulance arrived within minutes. Fantastic Service. Taken to St Georges Hosp. Within minutes I was on the Operating Table. The team which operated on me were caring supportive & so professional. At about 13.30, I was sitting in the recovery unit, not quite able to take it all in. I was transferred to CCU2 for monitoring & for the last 2 days to Belgrave Ward.
If my sincere thanks can be passed to the Ambulance team which attended me. I would be very grateful. As for the Consultant, I cannot put into words, my gratitude, for what they did for me. The consultant's support during & after could not have been better. The sister & their team in CCU2 was again so professional, friendly & caring.
I only wish that instances similar to mine, were at the forefront when discussing the NHS and not the negatives which seem to grab the headlines. Thanks to everyone who contributed to my recovery.
