"Day surgery centre 15/1/16"

Had to attend day surgery centre yesterday. Was extremely nervous but as soon as I got there the reception staff put me at ease. I took a seat in waiting room and before I put my bag down I was called through by the ward sister who was lovely. The ward sister took me to my bay and sat with me and checked notes. Within 20 I met the surgeon and anaesthetist. Another ten mins and was off for surgery. Again all staff very friendly. After op I was taken back to the ward where I was made a cup of tea and some toast. Hour later was up dressed and on way home. So thank you to all staff at the day surgery centre you were ace!
