About: Southend Hospital

I was sent a letter informing me my neurology appointment was in Brentwood, despite having numerous appointments at Southend in the past. As this appointment was brought forward I didnt question it as it could have been where the neurologist was holding clinic that day. However, upon arriving at Brentwood hospital, having taking the day off especially for the appointment, I was told this was incorrect and my appointment was infact at Southend. Wasted petrol, lost earnings from taking holiday and wasted my time due to inept staff. This kind of mistake is unacceptable. Had I been elderly and not able to drive, imagine the hassle it would have caused.
