On Thursday 7th January I fell over in the car park of the hospital and a kindly passer by initially ran over to see how I was then ran into the hospital for assistance.
An off duty member of staff came to my aid and phoned for help and within a minute there were at least 8 members of staff around me who had all responded to the call.
I couldn't take in who they all were but there was a doctor, someone with medical equipment, a porter, another helper with a wheelchair - I was amazed at this marvellous response.
Luckily I wasn't badly hurt and was accompanied into the hospital and checked by the doctor.
My thanks to all of them, I shall remember their kindness (and efficiency) for a long time.
