The hospital offers the services of a hypnotherapist (not advertised at reception) who treats patients referred by their gp on the NHS. Through this person i was able to have an outpatient operation without any anaesthetics or chemical painkillers whatsoever, only using hypnotherapy techniques throughout. I didn't suffer the side effects that I endured after a previous operation.
