Our Mum who is 85 was taken in with breathing problems and suffered a heart attack while at the hospital by our Dad who is 90 (and the wonderuful Ambulance Crew). All of the staff were truly brilliant - exceptional in every way.
A team of eight came to help her when it was clear she was suffering from a heart attack and within three hours, after making some tricky but timely decisions (because she has a number of illnesses) they'd enabled her to regain a good pattern of breathing, more or less stablise her blood pressure and above all, give us all hope she was going to make it through the night and see another day.
*****We can't thank them enough for their brilliant medical expertise, care and also compassion. Every single person who helped her was so impressive.
She will be coming home soon and we are very grateful. Thank you to all of you. If we could award the Hospital of the Year Award ourselves we'd be giving it to you all.**** Thankyou!
