"Early pregnancy panic"

About: St Mary's Hospital (Manchester)

I called the unit as had abdominal pains, within 15 minutes of being there I was called in to have my temperature, blood pressure and urine checked. Shortly after I was called in and seen by a nurse who talked me through what may be happening and re assured me I was in the best care, they were brilliant with my husband and helped him understand what was going on, 20 minutes later they had arranged an emergency scan, again the nurse who scanned me was brilliant really re assuring and comforting. To conclude it turned out I am pregnant with twins. I cannot thank the staff enough. From the initial phone call to the last conversation with the nurse ( to book in my next scan ). The hospital was clean, calm and the staff were extremely professional.
