"Kidney removal"

About: Lincoln County Hospital

I had my kidney removed due to a large tumour and found everyone i had contact with to be so caring and profesional. The staff in the intensive care department were so reassuring and everyone on the Clayton ward were wonderful .

They were dedicated and approachable and explained fully any treatment I received .The staff put me at ease from my initial diagnosis through to my discharge back to my GP.

I cant praise everyone enough and think there worth there weight in gold.

Response from United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust

Thank you Mr Shaw for taking time to post this lovely feedback, it has been shared via our ward Twitter account and the ULHT Nurses Together Facebook group; and has given the team a tremendous morale boost.

I was particularly pleased to hear that you were kept well informed of what was happening. I will also be sharing your feedback at our next ward meeting.

I hope that you are making a good recovery,

Kind regards,

Averil Adams
