"Urology Department"

About: Eastbourne District General Hospital

I had an operation to remove a tumour from my bladder on Monday and i must say the care and compassion from all staff at the hospital was excellent.

It was only 2 weeks from having the tumour diagnosed to having the operation so i have not had to wait long to have it sorted out.

The catering staff and housekeepers were also very kind and efficient.

My only complaint would be that on the day of discharge i did not leave the hospital until 9.15pm and despite asking for a sick note which i need for work, i never got one!

The ward was 2 staff short apparantly which could have had something to do with this.
