"Parking"

About: Southmead Hospital

Southmead is certainly a modern hospital which resembles an airport terminal. However, the parking is an absolute nightmare. You literally have to drive round in circles in the vain hope of finding a (very expensive) parking space. Disabled parking is also at a premium.

Dear Anonymous – thank you for posting your comments about Southmead hospital. I apologise that you found the parking so difficult. Regrettably during the on-going construction works interim parking solutions have been provided which we recognise have by necessity been less than ideal. However, the new patient multi-story car park will open in the late spring early summer and offer many more spaces, including an increase in disabled parking bays, all with much better and direct access to the main hospital Brunel Building will then be available. I hope this reassures you the situation was always designed to be much better that the interim solutions we were able to offer.

Kind Regards – Steve Sykes
