I just want to say thank you to all the doctors and nurses for helping me today.
I fell over 6 feet off a ladder and landed on my back on a concrete floor. The next day I went to a&e suffering from spinal pain. I got rushed in for an X-ray. Which didn't show any fractures but a slightly dissformed vertebrae. They suspected I had a fractured back and very lucky not to be paralysed.
This meant they needed to give me a ct scan to take a thorough look to see the exact damage I had caused.
After an hour or so I was admitted for my scan. With a lot of worry going through my head luckily the scan came back clear and it was really bad bruising that was causing my vertebrae to go out of shape.
I am very lucky to still be walking
The doctors and nurses where amazing and looked after me so well.
This hospital is an asset to the community.
Thank you again to all the staff that helped me.
Without our nhs system this country would not function the way it does.
God bless you all. Xx
