I had to stay for most of the day in the Catheter Suite after a Pacemaker implantation and was naturally a little apprehensive about the procedure. However,
I would tell anyone having an implant of any kind not to worry.
The consultant was wonderfully calm and reassuring and all the staff in the operating room worked like a well-oiled machine.
The nurses in the Recovery Ward simply could not have been more kind and considerate. The whole atmosphere was upbeat and positive and these young nurses did everything possible to make me as happy, contented and well informed as possible in the circumstances. And they SMILED!
This 91 year old bachelor fell in love with them all!
