"I was treated well in the a&e ..."

About: Newham General Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

I was treated well in the a&e department after coming in for a post rtc. it was only a minor injury that i recieved, but the staff were absolutaly amazing. i was still a student nurse at the time, and felt that i was treated with respect. i saw how much pressure the nurses were in as it was busy at the time and thought they handled it really well. because my injury was so minr, they showed me where they walk in centre was for a gp to reassess me. it made me see how well they treat patients no matter how inconsiderate and disrespectful patients are when they come in. i now work in this hospital as i found nurses and doctors really nice and pleseant.

What could be improved

nothing.

Anything else?

patients should understand that there is a 4 hour wait in a&e and that the nurses and doctors are doing their best to treat patients within that 4 hours. patients should drop the attitude and disrespectfulness towards nurses, doctors and the receptionists.
