"My hip replacement operation at Kingsmill 15th..."

The care before during and after my hip replacement on 15th January 2016 was from my point of view first class. The surgeon and anaesthetist and team made me feel very reassured just prior to surgery. To have my own room on Ward 11 was a treat. The caring and professional nature of the ward 11 staff was excellent. At no time did I have any concerns that they would adequately manage post operative pain with repeated visits to me at regular intervals. If I or any of my loved ones were to have the same operation I would want them to be cared for by the same team. The cleanliness and the many choices of interesting food were also excellent.

All the staff involved in my care should be commended for the work they do and extremely proud of the service they provide.

It's a pity the press do not tell every day stories like mine.

In the past I have had private hospital care. Kingsmill more than meets the standards of care their local private competition provides.

So I hope this message is conveyed to all the staff involved and that the Trust's senior management recognise the high standards being provided.
